We have found our unique way of engaging the community with our community inspired and designed exhibitions. Our first three exhibitions have featured Heroes… although we like finding heroes, we also like the idea of exploring other types of exhibition subjects. Deana and Julia are happy to discuss ways to have a community exhibition that suits you or your project.

Our Exhibitions include

The Famous Fifty on Parade in Coalville Market Hall

Famous Fifty of Coalville – WW1 Heroes who left their town as volunteers and found themselves in France. This award winning exhibition is currently available to book. Please ask us if you would like to have it visit your organisation or group,  hire starts at £100 plus mileage at .45p

Geordie Heroes Exhibition – taking our life size cutout exhibits to community groups in and around Newcastle, we invited people to nominate and create their own hero. Over 40 organisations are taking part and the Exhibition opens in The Globe Gallery, Pilgrim Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne on 25th August 2018 at 6pm. Then daily between 26th August to 1 September 10am to 6pm.

Agnes Baden Powell created by Guides from NW Leicestershire – one of many being created…

Fifty Fantastic Females – working with the community in NW Leicestershire, women are being celebrated for their achievements past and present. This exhibition will be our NW Leicestershire Hello Heritage event and will open in September 2018.

davTHINKING Exhibitions

In Coalville Co-op we have resources and activities all based on our shareable THINK Tools. With help from Graphic Packaging International we have some giant versions of the elephant story and other tools.

All of our exhibitions and THINK Tools are underpinned by THINKing – and we invite you to be involved.

For our next exhibition we would like to create a model of a ‘Thought Sorter’ (see below)

that people can put together to help with their thoughts. We are open to suggestions of how this might be done. Feel free to get in touch …
