On Monday 31 October, Coalville Heroes volunteers are providing free tasters of lovely hot soup between 12 noon and 2pm on the landing in the main NWLDC offices.
If you work in the NWLDC office bring along your mug, we want to be more green by not using disposable cups if we can help it!
If you are a visitor to the offices, we will provide you a disposable cup with lid!
Take part in our November Challenge whilst collecting your free taster!
Tell us what you could do with £10, £500 or £10k to improve Coalville in some way, it also helps if you can tell us what benefits there could be if we followed up on your idea! Flyers will be available to fill in on the day or Email your answers to Julia & Deana
On 3 June 2016, Deana Wildgoose and Julia Burkin committed their passion and expertise for the next 18 months to the Coalville Project, an initiative supported by North West Leicestershire District Council. They will work closely with existing providers and organisations to promote Coalville as a great place to live, learn, work and play.
Julia and Deana will share their journey with you by posting where they have been, who they are talking with and what already happens in Coalville. They will also be introducing lots of new activities and collaborations.
The Hero Project CIC is the new community interest company that Deana and Julia are creating to enable them to work in the Midlands area, in communities, making a difference! You can find out more about Julia, Deana and the Hero Project CIC on the relevant menu tab.
